Accessible for Disabled Visitors

The National Rescue Museum offers parking spaces for disabled visitors near the museum entrance, located on the Willemsoord premises. Our entrance is shared with Theater de Kampanje. Upon entering through a revolving door, you arrive in a central hall. At the end of this hall is the entrance to the National Rescue Museum. Follow signage and directional boards on Willemsoord to reach the entrance.

Disabled Access

The museum holds the International Disability Access Vignette, ensuring good accessibility for disabled visitors. We have a lift, an accessible toilet, and no steps or thresholds throughout the museum. Wheelchairs and walkers are also available onsite.

Mobility Scooters

Planning to visit the museum with a mobility scooter? It's advisable to inform our reception staff in advance. Larger scooters may have difficulty passing through the revolving door, but our staff can assist in opening an alternative entrance.

Assistance Dogs Allowed

Service dogs specially trained to assist individuals with disabilities are welcome in the museum. Other dogs are not permitted.
