Den Helder, surrounded by water, boasts two museums focused on the sea: the National Rescue Museum and the Naval Museum. Both are magnificent museums with their own stories. Location

The National Rescue Museum is located at Willemsoord in Den Helder. It is a beautiful historic site situated right in the heart of the city. Free parking is available, and the train station is within walking distance. The museum is easily accessible for people with disabilities. The museum entrance is located past the entrance to the Theater de Kampanje.
